Amanda Kalcic is a Senior Consultant specializing in the effective use of enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions and for the construction industry. Amanda is a certified accountant with ten years of construction industry knowledge and experience. This background gives Amanda the expertise to assist clients in evaluating, designing and implementing construction-related business processes, in optimizing current ERP software functionality, and in leading software selections. In addition to ERP, Amanda leads specific client engagements on third-party point solutions designed to augment the existing ERP functionality. Her primary area of focus typically relates to financial and personnel management, in the realm of procure-to-pay, automated invoice routing, human resources, and learning management. She has cultivated a deep understanding of specific processes related to these applications. Amanda works with clients by leading them in defining their business strategy and a determination of system requirements, ensuring maximum leverage of new technology. Her professional achievements include:
  • Managed multiple HR and LMS software selection projects for a variety of mid-size specialty construction clients with 500 to 1200+ employees. Directly involved in the entire selection project, Amanda leverages Burger Consulting Group’s proven software selection methodology working directly with clients to guide them in defining business requirements to ultimately selecting the right software to meet the organization’s objectives.
  • Lead Finance consultant on a procure-to-pay business strategy and process design initiative for a multi-location, multi-branch $1.8B revenue MEP Contractor. The project consisted of standardizing and automating processes, including the selection and integration of an ECM solution with the existing ERP. As a member of the Burger Consulting Group consulting team, Amanda’s focus on workflow best practices and software automation allowed her to guide the teams in design workshops and provide strategic recommendations for centralized invoice processing.
  • Served clients on multiple ERP implementation projects for a variety of mid-size general and specialty construction clients. Primarily focused on finance, human resource, payroll, service management, and time applications, Amanda works directly with client’s in leading them through Burger Consulting Group’s implementation methodology, including conducting highly valuable design workshops to guide the teams through the process design to ensure alignment with the organization objectives and best practice.
Prior to Burger Consulting Group, Amanda worked in mid-size construction companies as part of the Finance department. She holds a CPA, CGA designation through the Chartered Professional Accountant of Canada.
