Christian Burger, President of Burger Consulting Group, was graciously invited by the Colorado Chapter of CFMA to present Document Management, Project Management (PM), and Collaboration during their recent morning meeting. It was a well-attended event and the group asked many good questions. This presentation covered a lot of ground relating to PM and document management systems, integration, and ECM technology. It seemed as though many attendees were in various stages of evaluating their IT systems.
Given that Burger Consulting Group has worked with many Denver-based contractors in the past and is currently working with a large general contractor in Colorado, Christian had a friendly audience and certainly enjoyed a kind introduction from the chapter’s Ted Kijanka. Jason Rutkofsky, Burger Consulting Group’s Senior Implementation Project Manager, was on-hand to answer deployment questions as well.
Christian gave a special introduction to Alissa Smith from Bridges to Prosperity (https://bridgestoprosperity.org), an NGO and nonprofit from Denver that is doing important work in third-world countries by building bridges in hard to reach and washed out areas. Alissa’s organization is heavily supported by companies in the construction industry, both financially and with manpower.
BCG has been a long-time member and supporter of CFMA and welcomes the opportunity to present for other chapters. Christian will also be speaking about this topic at CFMA’s annual conference in San Antonio this summer.
