Angus Frost

Angus Frost is a Senior Consultant with over 20 years of experience (14 in the construction industry) providing strategic technology consulting. With his background as a CTO/CIO, Angus is most often involved in performing assessments of current infrastructure, the applications that it supports, identification of risks and inefficiencies and the skills and processes needed within IT to fully support an organization.

Angus applies his technical expertise to understanding clients’ business requirements, translating them to the underlying technology resources required in terms of personnel, processes and products. He takes a practical approach wherever possible, weighing the cost-benefit of different options.

Angus brings a significant value to clients, leveraging his broad technical background to a range of projects that include:

• Interim CIO and provider of CIO recruitment services for multiple large General and Specialty Contractors throughout the US, overseeing day-to-day IT Operations that included Cloud migrations, data center reduction, disaster recovery planning and IT Governance implementations
• Large scale technology risk assessments for system integrations, developing integration architecture and tool definitions
• Identifying scalable tools and processes for IT departments to manage the end-user experience better; improving systems’ reliability, cost recovery and overall ROI

Prior to working at Burger Consulting Group, Angus was a Chief Technology Officer for a design/build firm in Chicago. He regularly contributes his knowledge and expertise to the software development community, Advisory Boards and software start-ups in the construction industry and beyond.
